Testimonials

“I have known and worked with Michelle in a number of roles over many years. She is an inspirational figure with an enormous array of talents and skills whether she is acting as an event organiser, motivational speaker, educator, mentor, consultant or hosting a major conference. She is also an active board member and charity trustee, who understands governance and how to operate successfully in the third sector. A great person to work with.” Sir Clive Jones KCMG CBE

‘Michelle carried out a consultancy assignment for the Mayor’s Office in 2018, to develop a series of options for GLA investment into London’s community sport workforce. Her expertise in the sector combined with her network of contacts enabled us to solicit the views and input of a wide range of stakeholders, from individuals and small grass-roots organisations to high-level strategic partners. As part of the process Michelle facilitated a number of small- and larger-scale meetings, advisory groups and round tables, not just effectively and efficiently, but with the style and aplomb that I have learned characterise her work. On both a professional and personal level she has willingly offered her services and executive coaching support to me and my team, and always goes the extra mile to share what she has learned on her own journey, which has been considerable and hugely impressive. I can’t recommend Michelle highly enough for anyone looking for authenticity and impact – whether that be in the realm of personal coaching, leadership guidance, change management, or advice on how to embed genuine diversity and inclusion in their organisation’s culture’. Hilary Lissenden, Head of Community Sport, Office of the Mayor of London

‘Michelle has played an important role in enabling the Women’s Sport Trust to evolve as a diverse and inclusive organisation.  We have relied on her expertise, integrity, networks and willingness to hold us to account.  Michelle’s contribution has ranged from being a source of advice and support to the Chief Executives, through to practical tasks like sourcing speakers, expanding invite lists, sitting on the panel for our Board recruitment, as well as acting as a spokesperson in media interviews.  We are proud to work with her look forward to continuing to do so’. Tammy Parlour, CEO Women’s Sport Trust

I am so glad Michelle delivered our Diversity and Inclusion workshop. She absolutely cut through to the essence of what this is about and engaged the group – She was an inspiration with her energy and absolute conviction and the quietly effective way you she opened up the subject. She gave me courage to talk about sensitive issues’ Public Sector Executive

‘When people talk with knowledge and meaning – they do a good job; when they speak with passion – they do a good job; when they speak from experience – they do a good job. It is rare that people do all three at once and go on to do a great job, whilst also provoking serious thinking, and that was the feeling I was left with after leaving Michelle’s talk’. Mick Donovan Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Worcester University

“Michelle delivered an input at Kent Police’s Valuing Difference Leadership Event  in October 2018. The aim of the event was to provoke, challenge and inspire both Kent Police officers and staff in the way they think around diversity and embracing authenticity in the workforce. Michelle’s input encompassed the whole theme of the day, covering both challenging topics and providing an overview of her personal experiences which was very well received and thought provoking.  The feedback received from both officers and staff following the event has been overwhelmingly positive and we are extremely grateful to Michelle for being a pivotal part of a fantastic event.” Jo Shiner, Assistant Chief Constable, Kent Police

‘Michelle was engaging, relatable and truly inspirational. She delivered an exceptional motivational speech, which left everyone they could do anything with hard work and sheer determination.  Michelle exceeded our expectations and I would urge anyone who requires a speaker who can show that failures and circumstance can be turned into a positive, to book Michelle: she is down to earth with a sense of humour which alongside her story helped make her visit even more memorable’ Business Manager Chislehurst School

‘Our Year 10 pupils  were lucky enough to spend an hour in the company  of Michelle Moore. She delivered  a motivational talk that not only fired up their aspirations but also left them feeling inspired about how education could help them achieve their ambitions. The pupils  without exception, were able to relate to her story, they were intrigued about her journey and had many questions to pose to her during  the Q&A.  I would highly  recommend Michelle to speak at any school.  Our Year 10’s want to know when she is coming  back!’ Emma Thurston, Senior Deputy Headteacher St Matthew Academy
